About Athletic Performance & Recovery
What you should know
Athletic performance depends not just on strength and conditioning — it depends on how efficiently your body moves. When fascial restrictions create compensations in your movement pattern, certain structures are chronically overloaded while others underperform. You train harder, but the compensations persist. Rolfing Structural Integration directly addresses the connective tissue patterns that limit range of motion, disrupt movement efficiency, and place asymmetric load on joints and muscles. The result is a body that moves more freely, distributes force more evenly, and recovers more cleanly between training sessions.
Our approach
How Rolfing Improves Athletic Movement and Resilience

Victor Aguilar, certified at the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute, works with athletes across a wide range of sports and training backgrounds. His approach begins with a movement assessment — looking at how you run, squat, rotate, or perform the specific patterns relevant to your sport. He then uses Rolfing's systematic fascial techniques to release restrictions that are limiting range of motion, address adhesions in overused tissue, restore length and responsiveness to shortened structures, and improve the communication between segments of the body so movement becomes more integrated and efficient. Athletes often notice improvements in range of motion, symmetry, and ease of movement within the first few sessions. For those pursuing a full structural reset, the ten-session series provides a comprehensive reorganization of the whole body from feet to head.
Rolfing is well-suited for athletes who have recurring soft-tissue issues that don't fully resolve with standard treatment, who want to address movement efficiency and not just pain, who are in an off-season or reduced-training period and want to use the time for structural work, or who are post-injury and looking to ensure their movement patterns have fully recovered — not just their pain levels. Sessions are 65–75 minutes. Single sessions at $180. Three-session packages at $495. Ten-session series at $1,500.
