Your prenatal provider
Specialized training for expecting mothers
Pregnancy changes your body in profound ways — your center of gravity shifts, ligaments loosen, and posture adapts to support new life. Not every chiropractor is trained to work with a pregnant body. Dr. Hetal has completed advanced certification in the Webster Technique — a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment developed for pregnant patients. Her approach is gentle, low-force, and built around your comfort at every visit. Whether you're in your first trimester, preparing for birth, or recovering postpartum, you'll receive care that's tailored to exactly where your body is right now.

Our approach
Four pillars of pregnancy-safe care
Every visit is built around your current trimester, your comfort level, and the specific biomechanical needs of a changing body. No cracking, no forceful adjustments — just precise, gentle care.
- 1
Pelvic balance
We use the Webster Technique to assess and balance the pelvis, reducing tension in the ligaments that support the uterus and promoting proper alignment.
- 2
Sacral alignment
Gentle adjustments help restore proper movement through the sacrum and SI joints — often the real source of low back and pelvic pain in pregnancy.
- 3
Low-force techniques
Every technique we use is pregnancy-safe. Side-posture adjusting, drop-table work, and instrument-assisted methods let us deliver precise care without any pressure on the abdomen.
- 4
Postpartum recovery
After birth, your body needs time and the right support to return to pre-pregnancy alignment. We help you recover pelvic stability, resolve lingering pain, and feel like yourself again.

What to expect
Your first visit with Dr. Hetal
We know a first visit during pregnancy can feel vulnerable. Here's exactly what happens so there are no surprises.
Step 01
Conversation first
We start with a thorough conversation about your pregnancy, how you're feeling, any concerns from your OB or midwife, and what you're hoping care can help with. No rushed intake.
Step 02
Gentle evaluation
A physical evaluation designed for pregnant bodies — no uncomfortable positioning, nothing that stresses the abdomen, and everything is explained before it happens.
Step 03
Care that fits you
If chiropractic is appropriate, you'll receive a gentle adjustment that day. If we feel something needs more evaluation first, we'll refer you. Always honest, never pushy.
1st trimester (weeks 1–13)
Focus on relieving early pregnancy aches, supporting the spine through hormonal changes, and establishing a baseline of pelvic balance. All care uses low-force, pregnancy-safe techniques.
2nd trimester (weeks 14–27)
As your bump grows, we address shifting posture and the beginning of pelvic strain. Side-posture techniques and pregnancy pillows keep you comfortable during every adjustment.
3rd trimester (weeks 28–birth)
This is when most patients benefit most. Webster-based pelvic balance, gentle low back care, and hip mobility work help you move more comfortably and prepare for delivery.
Postpartum (after birth)
Your body needs support to realign after delivery. We help resolve lingering back pain, restore pelvic stability, and address the physical strain of nursing, carrying, and bending.

Common questions
Frequently asked questions
Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy?
Yes — when performed by a provider specifically trained in prenatal techniques. Dr. Hetal is Webster Technique certified and uses gentle, low-force methods designed for pregnant bodies. No pressure is ever placed on the abdomen, and positioning is always adjusted to keep you comfortable. We're always happy to coordinate with your OB or midwife.
Which prenatal chiropractic techniques are safest?
Gentle, low-force techniques designed for pregnancy — like the Webster Technique, drop-table and instrument adjustments — with pregnancy pillows or side-lying positions so there's never pressure on your belly. Tell us about any high-risk conditions, and check with your OB or midwife if you're unsure; we're happy to coordinate with them.
When during pregnancy can I start coming in?
Any trimester. Many patients start early for general comfort and posture support, while others come in later for specific pain or pelvic balance work. There's no "too early" or "too late" — we tailor care to wherever you are.
What is the Webster Technique?
The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment developed for pregnant patients. It focuses on balancing the pelvis, reducing tension in the ligaments that support the uterus, and supporting proper sacral alignment. Providers become certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).
Does it hurt? Will I be lying on my stomach?
No, and no. Pregnancy-safe chiropractic uses side-posture positioning, pregnancy pillows, and low-force techniques. You'll never be asked to lie in a position that's uncomfortable or unsafe for you or baby. Most patients describe the adjustments as gentle and relieving.
Can you help with postpartum recovery too?
Yes — postpartum care is one of the most important and most overlooked parts of motherhood. We help with pelvic realignment, residual back and hip pain, and the physical demands of nursing and carrying a newborn. You can start postpartum care as soon as you feel ready.
Do you accept insurance?
We accept several insurance plans for chiropractic care. Coverage for prenatal chiropractic varies by plan. We'll verify your benefits before your first visit so there are no surprises, and we offer straightforward cash-pay options as well.
