Acupuncturist
Brian Nguyen, LAc
Brian is the acupuncturist to see for conditions that haven't responded to other care. Trained in classical needle techniques and Master Tung acupuncture, he focuses on the underlying patterns driving your symptoms — not just the symptoms themselves. If you've been dealing with something complex or chronic, Brian is exceptionally equipped to help.
Background
Get to know Brian Nguyen
Brian Nguyen, LAc is a California-licensed and NCCAOM-certified acupuncturist with advanced training in Traditional East Asian Medicine. He earned his Master's degree from Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine and completed advanced study in classical needle techniques, including training under Dr. Edward Neal at the Huang Di Nei Jing Institute. He also specializes in Master Tung acupuncture, having trained with Christine Chang, a leading student of Dr. Wei Chieh Young.
Brian's clinical focus is on complex and chronic conditions — particularly autoimmune disorders, digestive and gut health, skin concerns, and long-standing musculoskeletal pain. His approach centers on identifying the underlying patterns driving symptoms, rather than treating isolated complaints. This leads to more sustainable, lasting results for patients who haven't found answers elsewhere.
What makes Brian's background especially distinctive is that he was formerly a master tango instructor. His deep understanding of the body through movement strongly shapes his clinical work — he places a particular emphasis on myofascial health, structural balance, and movement quality as part of comprehensive care.
Brian takes a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to every visit — blending precise acupuncture techniques with a holistic understanding of how lifestyle, stress, and environment contribute to chronic health patterns. His goal is not only symptom relief, but helping patients restore lasting balance and resilience.
