About this service
High-Energy Inductive Therapy (HEIT) is a non-invasive treatment that uses focused electromagnetic energy to stimulate muscles and nerves without direct contact with the body.
Patients remain fully clothed during treatment. Targeted electromagnetic pulses are delivered to a specific area, creating gentle rhythmic muscle contractions or a tapping sensation depending on the settings and location. HEIT is commonly used to improve muscle activation, reduce tension, enhance circulation, and support recovery.
Standalone session: $40. Not covered by insurance. Can be added on to a chiropractic visit.
Not eligible for patients with implanted electronic devices, cochlear implants, pregnancy, active cancer in the treatment area, metal implants in the intended treatment area, history of seizures, recent surgery, or open wounds. Call (747) 245-5421 if unsure.
Does HEIT Hurt?
HEIT is generally very comfortable and well tolerated. Most patients describe the sensation as a gentle tapping or rhythmic muscle contraction rather than pain.
Treatment intensity is always adjusted to your comfort level. Because HEIT does not require direct contact with the skin, many patients find it relaxing and easy to add to their visit.
Unsure what it feels like? We offer a free 5-minute demo so you can experience the sensation before committing to a full session.
Is HEIT Covered by Insurance?
At this time, insurance does not cover HEIT therapy. The session rate is $40 and can be booked as a standalone or added on to a chiropractic visit.

When Is HEIT Used?
HEIT is commonly used to improve muscle activation, reduce tension, and enhance circulation — particularly in larger muscle groups or areas where neuromuscular stimulation is beneficial.
While Shockwave Therapy targets specific injured tissue or chronic pain points, HEIT supports broader movement, recovery, and function. In many cases both therapies are used together for more comprehensive results.
